Great chest workout

If you want a chest like Jay Cutler or Dexter Jackson(pictured above) you have to use different methods and exercises to do so. The video is an example of how Dexter does chest, I want to offer a few different methods to help you hit your chest from different angles! At some point in time we all try different chest movements flat bench,incline,decline bench with barbells or dumbbells, have you ever tried it in a power rack??? When you do any of the 3 types of bench movements in the rack you offer your chest a better way to tear down the fibers in your chest. If you've never down it do a few light sets to get accustom to the movement. 1st set the safeties an inch above your chest and set the bar on the safeties. start with a warm up set or 2 then do 4 working sets if your trying to build 10.8.6.4.2 is tried and try. If your trying to cut do 20.15.12.10. Start at the bottom and press your way up stop before lockout,this will allow you to hit more fibers and slowly return to the bottom just don't hit the safeties. After you've completed 2 or all of the 3 movement move to dumbbell bench or fly's and use the rep schemes for the type of workout you want. Next is cable crossovers, start with the pulls hi a notch above shoulder level take 2 steps in front and do 3-4 sets 6-20 reps depending upon you goal. (this is also in the Jackson video) last but not least is dips you can do these with high reps for a good burn or with weight strapped to your waste, its up to you!You can do as many set as you want just listen to your body and check your echo at the door. This is just a way to give you idea's in your quest to become the bodybuilder you want to be, I promise the next article will be easier to follow, this is just off the top of the dome!
